Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (kuluttajansuojalaki) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive. Tell us by a clear statement to unable_tasters_2s@icloud.com — an email quoting your order number is enough. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
Goods must come back complete and in a condition that still allows them to be sold. You may unpack an appliance and inspect it, as you would in a shop; you are liable for any loss in value beyond that. An appliance that has been installed, connected to a flue or lit cannot be returned — once it has been fired it is no longer new and its value is lost. Keep the original packaging and the pallet: a stove cannot be returned safely without them.
Cost of return
The direct cost of return is yours. For an appliance on a pallet we can book the collection and invoice it at cost — tell us before you send anything, because an unbooked pallet return usually fails.
Refunds
We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, to the original means of payment, including the standard outbound delivery charge. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund the standard rate.
If something is faulty
The seller is liable for defects under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. Goods must correspond to what was agreed and last a reasonable time given their price and nature; there is no fixed cut-off, and for an appliance of this kind the reasonable time is counted in years. Tell us within a reasonable period of noticing a fault and we will repair, replace or refund. Damage caused by incorrect installation, an unsuitable or unswept flue, overfiring, or burning the wrong fuel is not a manufacturing defect.
Wear to firebricks, baffles, glass, grates and door seals (gaskets) is normal consumable wear, not a defect.
None of this affects your statutory rights.
